How To Win the Drug War
The art of good business is being a good middleman. The cartels are middlemen. If drugs were legal per the US Bill of Rights, then the cartels would lose the income to finance their wars.
Why buy drugs from murderers when it is legal to buy drugs from your neighbor or peaceful businessman?
People use drugs regardless of legality. With the drug war, taxes and crime are high. The cartels are willing to break the law to make a profit. A police state is required to fight the cartels.
Obeying the Constitution would end the drug war and win the drug war. The cartels can not handle the competition in a free market.[2] The cartels will go bankrupt.
“See, if you look at the drug war from a purely economic point of view, the role of the government is to protect the drug cartel. That’s literally true.” -Milton Friedman, 1991 interview with Randy Paige on “America’s Drug Forum.”[1]
